What an amazing day we’ve had today. All of us at the Adirondack Wine & Food Festival were absolutely humbled by the outpouring of support we have received from our state and local government and local fellow business owners.
Today I was joined by about 40 people at Adirondack Winery’s Tasting Room in the heart of beautiful Lake George Village to make an exciting announcement:
I am proud to say that the Adirondack Wine & Food Festival has been awarded funding from Governor Cuomo’s Craft Beverage Grant Program to support the marketing of our event. With this funding, the Adirondack Wine & Food Festival has been officially designated a TASTE NEW YORK event!
We are honored that Empire State Development has chosen our event as one that matches the mission of Taste New York and the Governor’s Craft Beverage Initiative: to highlight the quality, diversity, and economic impact of New York’s food and beverage industry.
Additionally, we have received support from Warren County and the Village and Town of Lake George to help us put on an amazing event that draws thousands of people to Lake George Village the weekend of June 25th and 26th.
Thanks to this generous funding, you will see reminders of the Adirondack Wine & Food Festival popping up all around you… You’ll soon see our event plastered on billboards and across TV screens, in your social media news feeds, in your Sunday Paper, hear about it on the radio on your drive home, see it all around while you’re surfing the web, and of course, hear about it from your friends and family!
We are excited to have a part in fueling the local economy of the Lake George region when the thousands of people who purchase tickets to our festival also take advantage of all the hotels, attractions, restaurants, shops and more that our region has to offer!

I’d like to thank all of those who were present today to show their support of the Adirondack Wine & Food Festival and hear our Taste New York announcement.
