Located at the Fort William Henry Hotel and Conference Center, people from across the country bring their classic cars with the hopes of winning the ultimate prize. A favorite of people near and far, the Adirondack Balloon Festival is a staple of area every fall. It’s been a year without it, but it will definitely be worth the wait. Balloons will be going up all over the area throughout the weekend, including the famous mass ascensions at Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport in Queensbury. Drink Pink at Adirondack Winery

Join Adirondack Winery throughout the month of October for their ninth annual Drink Pink fundraiser to benefit the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of the Adirondacks. All month long, they will highlight special Drink Pink accessories, pink wine and food, raffle baskets, special events, and more, all to benefit Making Strides of the Adirondacks! If you’re checking out Lake George in October, you cannot miss out on this three day Oktoberfest! Canada Street will be transformed into a European-style street fair with offerings for the whole family. Enjoy Oktoberfest traditions, music, authentic German food, and of course…beer!
