The Premier Wine & Food Event of the Summer Is Back After 2 Years with
120 of New York’s Best Craft Beverage & Food Vendors

(LAKE GEORGE, N.Y.) Following a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Adirondack Wine & Food Festival will return to Lake George, New York, on Saturday, June 25th & Sunday, June 26th.

This “kick off to the summer” event will feature 120 of New York’s best wineries, distilleries, breweries, cideries, artisan food vendors, food trucks and more at Lake George Festival Commons. The event is one of the largest wine and food events in the Northeast, with over 7,700 attendees expected this year.

“I could not be more excited for the festival to return after two years away,” said Sasha Pardy, founder of the Adirondack Wine & Food Festival and co-owner of its presenting sponsor, Adirondack Winery. “We are 100 percent focused on bringing our guests the experience they have come to know and love over the years, and we are so grateful to be a few short months away from doing that.”

The last Adirondack Wine & Food Festival in 2019 was attended by 6,761 people, with 73 percent of attendees saying they planned a trip to the area specifically to attend the festival.

The 2022 Festival is expected to generate 4,745 overnight stays in the area and create a staggering $3.6 million economic impact on the region.

New this year, VIP ticket holders will have the ability to add private cabanas to their experience, complete with seating, sparkling wines from Adirondack Winery and more. Also new this year, the festival will introduce wandering entertainers, including acoustic musicians and unique performers.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Southern (“BBBS”) Adirondacks will return as the festival beneficiary. A portion of every ticket sold will be donated to this incredible organization that provides mentorship, tutoring and experiences to youth in Warren, Washington, and northern Saratoga counties. BBBS raised $15,000 through the 2019 Festival and this year’s goal is even higher.

Big Brothers Big Sisters will operate the Drop-Off / Pick-Up Tent, where guests can “check” the local beverages and foods they purchased to take home until they are ready to leave. Volunteers from BBBS also help operate the event and make sure everyone stays hydrated with water for sale (for a great cause!) and they have an excellent raffle basket table packed with products from our vendors.

The event is family friendly, offering designated driver and underage tickets (children get in free), and these attendees may sample artisan foods and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as have access to food trucks and all festival activities. A Kids Activity Tent, wandering entertainers, photo booth, natural children’s playground and skateboard park are among the family friendly festival offerings.

Pre-sale tickets launched with a bang in December 2021 and sales are so far well beyond estimated projections. Tickets will be available at the door; however, VIP and Saturday tickets have sold out in the past so advance ticket purchase is recommended. More event details will be provided to current ticket holders and subscribers via the Adirondack Wine & Food Festival email newsletter, social media accounts (@adkwinefestLG), and at
